You will then see the description and picture of the item, the current bid price, the number of bids made since it was listed and the time remaining in the auction. Placing a Bid Once you've found an item you would like to buy, simply click on the item description and you will be taken to eBay to complete the transaction. To place a bid on an item, you will be asked to sign in. If you have not already registered you will be asked to do this here.
