EczemaEczema is a condition that affects thousands of children and a great many adults too. Although it is not life threatening it can be very upsetting and cause a lot of disruption to a sufferer’s daily life and that of their family. It is also a chronic condition which can persist for long periods of time. Unfortunately there is no cure for eczema but it can be managed by using appropriate medical treatments and making some changes to lifestyle, diet and the way you look after your skin. We strongly recommend that you speak to your family doctor first to make sure a correct diagnosis is made and then contact The Eczema Association of Australasia for further support if you or your child suffers from eczema.
