Australian Immunisation Chart

This immunisation chart is applicable in Australia for children born after 1st January 2004.

Visit the Medicare Australia site for further information regarding children born before this date.

6 months	Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis Hepatitis B (6 or 12 months)** Hib Polio Pneumococcal Rotavirus (RotaTeq vaccine)*	2 Injections Oral (Rotavirus)
12 months	Measles, mumps and rubella Hib Meningococcal C Hepatitis B (6 or 12 months)**	3 Injections
18 months	Varicella (Chicken Pox)	1 Injection
4 years	Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis Polio Measles, mumps and rubella	2 Injections

*Rotavirus Gastroenteritis Vaccine
Note - Depending on the brand of vaccine there will be two or three doses. Third dose required when RotaTeq vaccine is used.

**Hepatitis B
Note - Hepatitis B vaccine may be given at 6 or 12 months.
